How to take payment with Tap to Pay on iPhone
Present your iPhone to your client, and have your client hold their contactless card horizontally or hover their device at the top of your iPhone, over the contactless symbol. When you see the “done” checkmark, the transaction is complete.
When clients use a credit card with the tap-to-pay logo, you may need to tap the card to the back of your phone for the device’s processor to pick up the details.
Troubleshooting
If you do not see Tap to Pay on iPhone as a payment type in your app:
- Please check your iOS software to ensure it is up to date.
- Ensure that your phone’s location permissions are enabled for GlossGenius.
- Tap to Pay on iPhone cannot be used while your card reader is connected. Please be sure to disconnect your reader.
