Filling your schedule is a priority! You can use our waitlist feature to manage requests and schedule appointments when spots open on your calendar.
How to Setup Online Booking Waitlists:
To allow your clients to submit waitlist requests online, head to More > Settings > Online Booking Controls & Notifications > Waitlist Settings > Enable Online Waitlist Registration.
Note: If your online booking setting is set to only allow ‘existing clients’ to book then brand new clients will be notified that they are unable to add a waitlist request.
At this time, a credit card cannot be added on file when clients add a request to the waitlist.
Client Appointment Notifications
Once a client has successfully added a request to your waitlist, they will receive a text message notifying them that the business will be in touch if they a spot opens up and they have been booked.
- If a waitlisted appointment is converted into an appointment: Clients will receive a scheduling notification with the details of their appointment.
- If the waitlisted appointment is deleted: Clients will receive a notification letting them know that their request was not able to be accommodated.
Managing your Waitlist
To view and manage your waitlist, head to More > Waitlists. From this page, you will be able to view your waitlisted appointment request as well as manually add requests to your list.
You can convert waitlisted appointments into scheduled appointments, or remove waitlisted appointments from your list.
If you have team members on your GlossGenius account, they will be able to accept waitlisted appointment requests as well. The waitlist feature is included in the team member permissions, ‘Calendar’. If team members are able to view and edit their own schedules, they will be able to manage their waitlist requests.
