How long will it take to ship? 

The estimated transit time is 3-5 business days. However, transit times can vary based on a few factors, including but not limited to:

• Total distance between us and you
• Extreme weather conditions
• National holidays

Please note that this time frame is an estimate and not a guarantee. 

How do I change or cancel my order? 

Please complete the form linked here as soon as possible. Our Customer Success team will be in touch! While we cannot guarantee changes to orders after they have been placed, we will certainly do our best. If the order has been processed and/or fulfilled, please refer to our returns policy below.

I think my delivery was lost, what do I do? 

Any inquiries regarding the exact location of your package should be made to the shipping carrier. GlossGenius cannot investigate lost packages.

Want to return your CMM?

We’re confident that you’ll love your CMM, but if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, we offer 10 day hassle-free returns. You will only pay for return shipping. The refund amount will be added back to your original form of payment. 

Please note the following conditions for returns:

1. The CMM must not be physically damaged and be in good working condition
2. Please return your CMM in the original packaging (including cable and box)
3. Within 10 days of receiving the CMM, please complete the form here to begin your return process. 

Please note that we will not accept returns without the return merchandise authorization (RMA) provided by our Customer Success team.

Battery and Controls 

Powering on and off 

Hold the power button down for 2 seconds.

Card reader battery 

The battery should last all day with normal use. When not in use, your card reader will go into standby to save battery and will remain connected to your app when your phone is nearby. 

How to: To check the battery, go to Settings > Card Reader & Checkout > Card Readers  > My Card Reader and see how much your device is charged below Device Connected. You can also check your battery percentage while in Checkout in the Use Card Reader section.

Charging

Use the micro USB or USB-C cable included in your CMM kit, plug one end into your CMM and the other end into a USB port like a cell phone charger. You will know it’s charging when the light flashes red and magenta. When it’s done charging, the light will turn off. 

Tip: We recommend charging your card reader overnight so you can slay all day!

Updating your card reader 

Keep your card reader up to date so it can continue to work seamlessly with your GG app! We recommend updating your card reader every 6 months. It only takes 1-2 minutes! 

How to: To update your card reader go to Settings > Card Reader & Checkout > Card Readers  > My Card Reader and tap Update device and wait for the update to complete. Now you are set to gloss on!

Setup Your Card Reader

1. 1. Update to the latest version of GlossGenius in the app store
   2. Make sure your tablet or phone’s Bluetooth is on and not connected to any other card reader, including your new card reader.
   3. Make sure that your tablet or phone has Location and Nearby Device (Android only) permissions allowed for GlossGenius. 
   4. Turn on your card reader by tapping the power button. 
   5. Open the GlossGenius app and tap Settings at the top right of the Dashboard. Go to Card Reader & Checkout > Card readers > Set Up a New Card Reader.
   6. Your card reader will appear under TAP YOUR DEVICE BELOW with a unique ID. You can find the ID on the back bottom left of the device.
   7. Tap your device ID and wait for it to say Connected below GlossGenius PoS. Press Finish
      Note: You may see a loading screen while your device updates and once it disappears it is done updating. Then you can press Finish.
