You can customize your online booking settings only to allow appointment bookings from your existing clientele. Tap Settings > Booking Controls & Notifications > Online Booking Settings > Allow Online Booking. Here you will see three options:
- Allow online booking for all clients: Allow online booking for all clients, new and existing
- Allow online booking for existing clients only: Only allow online booking for clients that have already booked an appointment with you in the past.
- Disallow online booking: Disallow online booking for all clients
By selecting "Allow online booking for existing clients only," only clients with an existing client profile in your list will be able to book new appointments with you.
If online booking is disabled for new or all clients, you have the option for your business contact details to be shared with them. Tap Settings > Booking Controls & Notifications > Online Booking Settings > Ask Clients to Contact Salon.
- If Ask Clients to Contact Salon is enabled, new clients attempting to book with your business will receive a decline message that states: "Name of Provider’ at ‘Salon Name’ does not accept online bookings at this time. Please contact "Business Phone Number" with your name, your provider’s name, service(s) requested, and desired date/time of your booking."
- If Ask Clients to Contact Salon is disabled, new clients attempting to book with your business will receive a decline message that states: "Something went wrong. Your booking request was unsuccessful. ‘Name of Provider’ at ‘Salon Name’ does not accept online bookings at this time."
If your waitlist is enabled, clients can request an appointment time slot. You will be able to review these requests and convert them to appointments if a spot opens up on your calendar! For more about the waitlist, review Waitlist Explained.
