- Easily access all of your expenses in one place: Access all your expenses conveniently in one place within the GlossGenius app. Keep a record of what you spent, the amounts, dates, and recipients, providing you with a comprehensive overview of your business expenses.
- Categorize your expenses: Easily categorize your expenses to gain insights into different expense types, such as rent, utilities, supplies, inventory, and more. GlossGenius has collaborated with industry experts to include categories relevant to your business's success.
- Receipt Storage: Say goodbye to lost receipts. Snap photos or upload receipts directly from your phone, ensuring that every receipt is securely stored and easily accessible whenever needed.
- Add Recurring expenses: Streamline the process of entering repetitive expenses, such as rent or monthly bills. Simply mark an expense as recurring, specify the frequency, and let GlossGenius handle the rest - No more repetitive data entry.

Using the Expense Management Feature
To access the Expense Management feature, tap into More > Expenses. Within this feature, you'll find the following options:
- Add New Expense
- View & Track All Expenses
- Get An Expense Report
Note: Expenses are for the entire business - At this time team members cannot track individual expenses, as this is a general business setting.
Add New Expense
To add a new expense, simply tap on the Add New Expense option, then fill out the required fields.
Category | Select an appropriate category for the expense or create a new one using the + button (required) |
Date of Expense | Set the date when the expense occurred (required) |
Amount | Enter the amount spent (required) |
Vendor | Specify the vendor associated with the expense |
Description | Add any additional details or notes about the expense |
Receipt File | Take a photo or upload an existing photo of the relevant receipt. Please note that photos of receipts cannot be exported, but you can take screenshots of the uploaded receipts. |
Make Expense Recurring | If the expense is recurring, enable this option and choose the frequency (example: monthly rent) |
View & Track All Expenses
This option allows you to review and manage all your expenses effectively. Here's what you can do:
- View and track all expenses, including recurring expenses
- Add and manage expense categories
- Add new expenses seamlessly
Get An Expense Report
Generate an expense report to gain a comprehensive overview of your business expenses. Simply select the date range, tap the Send button, and your expense report will send to the email associated with your GlossGenius account. The report is organized based on the categories you've set up within the Expense Management feature.
