Accessing Email Marketing and Text Marketing:

The Email Marketing and Text Marketing features can be found under the More tab at the bottom right of the GlossGenius home screen. For Team Accounts, the Manage Marketing Campaigns permission must be enabled to access these features. 

Email Marketing

Sending targeted and personalized emails is a powerful way to engage with your clients and encourage them to book appointments. Here's how you can make the most of our Email Marketing feature:

1. Select and Filter Clients - Tailor your email campaigns by selecting all clients or filtering them based on specific criteria, such as recent visits or past services. This ensures that your messages reach the right audience.
2. Promotions and Special - Get creative with your emails by offering promotions and specials, especially during holidays and festive seasons. Our Email Marketing feature has proven to be effective for promoting various kinds of specials, driving more appointments to your business.
3. Genius AI Assistance (Gold Plan) - For Gold Plan members, we offer the Genius AI feature to simplify the process of crafting email marketing campaigns. By tapping the Ask Genius AI button and answering a few prompts, our AI-powered tool will generate a professional, impactful email based on your ideas. You can provide feedback, make tweaks, and have the final say before it's sent to your clients.

Sending an Email Marketing Campaign - Step by Step:

1. Tap into the Email Marketing feature
2. Select the Create New Email Campaign button
3. Choose the clients who will receive the campaign. Selected clients will be highlighted in pink. You can use the filter option to target a specific audience. After selecting the clients, tap Next
4. Create the email campaign - Add an Email Subject and the Message Body. After crafting the message, tap Next
5. Preview and confirm the message is ready to send. You can also send the message as a test to the email linked with your account. Once confirmed, tap the Send this now! button

Note: Previous email campaigns can be viewed under Email Marketing > View past campaigns.

Text Marketing

Our Text Marketing feature offers a direct and immediate way to communicate with your clients. Here's how you can make the most of it:

1. Individual Text Messages - Send personalized text messages individually to all your clients, ensuring a more personal touch in your communication.
2. Get More Messages - To use the Text Marketing feature, you can purchase text message credits by tapping the Get More Messages button. As a bonus, Gold Plan members receive 500 free texts each month.
3. Genius AI Assistance (Gold Plan) - For Gold Plan members, we offer the Genius AI feature to simplify the process of crafting text marketing campaigns. By tapping the Ask Genius AI button and entering in a few key words, our AI-powered tool will generate a professional, impactful text based on your ideas. You can provide feedback, make tweaks, and have the final say before it's sent to your clients.

Sending a Text Marketing Campaign - Step by Step:

1. Tap into the Text Marketing feature
2. Select the Create New Text Campaign button
3. Choose the clients who will receive the campaign. Selected clients will be highlighted in pink. You can use the filter option to target a specific audience. After selecting the clients, tap Next
4. Create the text campaign - You can use a pre-populated template or create a new message Please note the message must be 160 characters or less
5. Preview and confirm the message is ready to send. You can also send the message as a test to the phone number linked with your account. Once confirmed, tap the Send this now! button

Note: Previous text campaigns can be viewed under Text Marketing > View past campaigns.

Note: At this time text campaigns cannot include Bitly links or shortened URLS. If a campaign contains a Bitly link or shortened URL, the message will not deliver to your clients.
