To protect your time against no-shows and last-minute cancellations, make sure that you require a card during booking and that you set a cancellation fee and policy in your settings!
To get started, open the app and tap Settings > Booking Controls & Notifications > Online Booking Settings > Require Card. Here, you can set this to Require for all clients, change it to Require for new clients, or choose Never require if you don't want to set a card requirement. We recommend setting it to "Require for all clients" just to be safe.
While on the Online Booking Settings screen, you can also tap Cancellation Policy towards the bottom to set yours up! Typically, this says any cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are subject to a 50% fee, but you know your business better than anyone, and we leave this up to you!
Finally, tap Cancellation Fee and set it to a percentage, anywhere from 0% (none) to 100% (full).
That's it! If you have a last-minute cancellation or no-show, open up the appointment later that day in your app and tap No-Show (Collect Fee). We'll handle the rest!
