To protect your time against no-shows and last minute cancellations, make sure that you require a card during booking and that you set a cancellation fee and policy in your settings!
To get started, open the app, go to Settings, then Business Info, then Booking & Payment. Once there, tap "Require Card." Here, you can keep this set to "Always," change it to "Never," or just require it for new users who've never booked you with GlossGenius! We recommend setting it to "Always" just to be safe.
While on the Booking & Payment screen, you can also tap "Cancellation Policy" to set up yours! Typically, this says any cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are subject to a 50% fee, but you know your business better than anyone and we leave this up to you!
Finally, tap "Cancellation Fee" and set it to a percentage, anywhere from 0% (none) to 100% (full).
That's it! If you have a last-minute cancellation or no-show, open up the appointment later that day in your app and tap "No-Show (Collect Fee)" and we'll handle the rest!
